夏雄，M.D., D.C., 威斯康辛州马尼托瓦克市., 1991届毕业生, 是一名家庭医生, 社区领袖, author and motivational speaker who fulfilled the "impossible dream" of becoming a medical doctor after immigrating with his family from Laos by way of Thailand. His dream stemmed from a promise he made to his older brother Pao who fell ill while their family lived in a Thai refugee camp. 在泰国一家医院, 没有医生来看他弟弟的地方, Xa held his dying brother's trembling hands and vowed to become a medical doctor so he could "heal the hearts of others." 苏珊·巴斯特，埃德.D., 河畔的, 1982届毕业生, is the Director of Professional Development and Digital Learning for the Moreno Valley Unified School District. Buster earned her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in elementary mathematics from California State University, 洛杉矶. In her work with the Moreno Valley Unified School District, she implements programs to improve the district’s 33,000 students' lives which includes developing comprehensive curriculum plans for increased student achievement, 以及专业发展项目, as well as implementing one-on-one devices (Chromebooks).
